Color Club Get Your Lem-On

The days are long, the weather is warm, and the sun is shining... yeeeaaah, sounds like we're heading into Summer alright. What could be more apropos than a neon polish? Nothing. Yep. Nothing. That's right, I said it! P.S. I took down even moar nail length. They were growing like weeds! (WTF?!)

A retina-searing highlighter yellow with electric blue microshimmer. What more could you ask for from a neon polish? Not much, I'd say. One downside, however, was that it was scented -- smelled something like a mixture of cough medicine and radioactive lemon juice. C'mon, humor me guys. Puke city! Funny how we're like la-di-da with acetone and polish fumes but scented polish? *clutches pearls* Oh heavens no! The horror! As with all neons, this was impossibly difficult to capture on camera. Whatevs! You'll have to take my word for it. It's freaking awesome and just screams Summer =D. This was two coats of Color Club Get Your Lem-On on top of one thick coat of Sally Hansen White-On (hmm, that's a lot of on's if I do say so myself). Remember to layer your neons over white to get that perfect pop of color -- my PSA for the day. I'm about to head on a road trip tomorrow. Starting from Denver and making big stops in Las Vegas and Los Angeles with a bunch of pit stops in between I'm sure! Let's see how much polish I end up with when I'm finally back home in California =D. I am le excited. Happy Tuesday to you guys and happy travels to meeeeee! Yay!!!!

Nostalgic Lacquer Pizzazz

I'm going to hit you all with a bright pop of green okay? Okay! Here's Nostalgic Lacquer Pizzazz layered over some green jellies. Some squinting might be necessary =P...

The base polish for my index and ring was New York Summer Hot Green and my middle and pinky was New York Summer Amaranth. Everything was topped off with one coat of Pizzazz and a matte top coat. Talk about bright, right?! Thanks for reading everyone. Hope the start of your week has been a good one!

Candeo Colors Dive Bomb

First off, I'd like to begin this post by saying WOOHOO for my 100th blog post!!! Wow, has it really been the big 100 already? Suh-weeeeet!

So are you ladies (and gents) ready for some eye candy today? It is Friday after all right? Let's celebrate!  I'm sure you all have noticed the abundance of indie brand polishes that have been popping up left and right. Seriously, some of these indie brands are really bringing it. And I mean bringin' it with a side of two snaps =P. Featured today are two manis using Candeo Colors Dive Bomb. And let me tell you, I am in *love* with this polish. You guys don't mind if I spam you with pictures right? Well, behold! Feast your eyes on the magic ahead...

 Index & ring: Revlon Royal
Middle & pinky: New York Summer Hot Sky Blue
Both bases are awesome blue jellies!

Finger Paints Lemon Sour & NYX Maven for the base
Topped off with Essie Matte About You

This was only ONE layer of glitter my friends. Every coat went on smoothly and I got a good chunk of various sized glitters every single time. Removal takes a bit more effort but of course that is expected with all glitters. I actually didn't even have to use the foil method - a little extra scrubbing with regular polish remover (no pure acetone needed!) was all it took.

So are you drooling yet? Do you guys need resuscitation now or have you already caught your breath? Okay, now that you're all back with me, the big question is where can you find this beauty? Well, you can check out Candeo Colors, an etsy shop owned by the lovely Melinda who hand mixes all these wonderful creations. I believe she is debuting a new collection soon so be sure to keep your eyes open for that! I hope you all enjoyed today's manis as much as I enjoyed doing them! Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for reading my lovelies! =D

Zoya Pippa

Hello lovelies! Today I'm gonna try something a little different. It's been so gloomy and rainy lately that there hasn't really been a good opportunity to take some nice and sunny outdoor pictures. I should invest in a lightbox of some sorts hrmm... but for now, enjoy these pics!

Ohh what?? Only two pics? Yes... two pics. Two humongo pics! Apologies for the dry cutes my dears, I shall moisturize this instant! (Speaking of which, as a friendly reminder: Have you moisturized today? ^_^) So what do you think of the inside lighting -- yay/nay? Mr. Sun, where are you?! Hahaha, as always, thanks for reading and Happy Tuesday, folks =)
