Neutral Floral Stamping

Hello ladies! It's been such a long time since I've done any stamping so I decided to revisit one of my favorite designs for today's mani. My base color was OPI Samoan Sand -- an awesome nude jelly very close to my skin tone. The stamping was done using Sally Hansen White On with Bundle Monster plate BM-221.

Not much else to report today other than it is absolutely beautiful outside! Go and enjoy the weather everyone. Hope you all have a fabulous Monday and thanks for reading! <3

To a New Year

Hi everyone. I did not forget about this blog :). I've just been preoccupied with life. Yes, life happens. This will not make up for my absence but it will show you that I have not been neglecting my nails (pinky swear). Remember when my nails were this long?

Zoya Sooki

Well like I said, life happens! Family, friends, new jobs, new responsibilities, new nails! Now I normally don't do nail spam on my blog but I've been keeping a few mani photos on hand during my hiatus so here they are. It's mini spam but hey, at least it's something :D. Looks like it was back to basics, guys...

Going Greek

If you've read my blog for a while now, I think you might've noticed that I have a thing for gold flakie top coats. I really tried to stop myself from getting another, but yeah... obvious fail. Oh well!!! This mani reminds me of a Greek toga party. Dejavu? Yes... this mani I did previously also reminded me of one. I think I may just be itching to go to one. Hrmmm *plots* =P. My base here was OPI Don't Touch My Tutu (horrible name but hey, WHAT'S NEW OPI?!) and the gold flakes were American Apparel Meteor Shower.

OMG, this mani was THICK. Heeeeck, it was "only" 8 coats (1 base, 4 DTMT, 1 Seche Vite, 1 MS, 1 SH Insta-Dri) but my coats of DTMT were super thick due to my huge aversion to visible nail line (kill it with fire!!!). I'm pretty sure I'll be denting this some time soon but I'll try to enjoy it while it lasts! And oh yes, Meteor Shower had curling flakes. Damn the curling flake/glitter problem! I am shaking my fist at you, curling glitter gods! Whatever though, I made do. Love gold top coats too much to be too bummed about it. I am however, pretty bummed that this 18k gold flakie top coat from Sephora by OPI costs an arm and a leg. D= Whyyyyyy?!??! Guess I'll have to go working the streets to come up with that kinda money. Anyway, I think I've already rambled too much. As always, thanks for reading guys. Have a wonderful Thursday!

Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend

Are you guys getting tired of my gradient manis yet? I hope not =). I had some fun with today's Lazy Weekend post. Check it out!

Such a fun combo!

A couple more pics for fun. Enlarge to see it in full size!

My base was China Glaze For Audrey -- a Tiffany blue of course. My tips were covered with "diamond-like" OPI Crown Me Already. What do you guys think?? I personally love it! =D And oh yeah, that is TOTALLY a real Tiffany & Co. necklace*... uh huh.... Thanks for reading guys!

* Yeaaaah, no. Got this as a gift from a friend who was vacationing in China lololol

A Delicate Grey Layering

Semi-lazy weekend post for today! OPI My Pointe Exactly and Pahlish Typewriter Keys from Shannon's etsy shop.  I think this might be one of my favorite layering combinations -- check it out!

I cannot believe how amazing this combo turned out!
Check out the pics below for MPE on its own

I took these pics last night without intending to
post them but they actually turned out pretty nice!

The amazing thing is that this was only 3 thick coats of MPE to achieve full opacity (contrary to the ridonkulous 6-8 coats that I've heard around the interwebs ><). It is so pretty on it's own! The additional perks of self leveling and an extremely forgiving formula make it that much more amazing. Can you believe that I didn't even have to do clean up on the last two pics?! That is cray cray. You may have also noticed that I filed down my nails -- GUYS, I was freaking out! My nails were the longest they've ever been in my entire life. That's nuts... I kept thinking they were going to break somehow so I filed them down. Glad I did because I am much happier at this length =D. So what do you guys think? Gonna give OPI Ballet Collection a chance? Gonna hoard some Pahlishes while you're at it too? Hehehe, have a wonderful weekend everyone!

TV Show Polishes

Normally, I don't repost pictures but I found this too awesome not to share. Which collection is your favorite guys??

Sad to say these aren't real. One can still dream, right?? (Source)
