A Sinfully Green Glitter Gradient

Hi again! For all you lovers of green, I have something that I think you'll like. Today we have a sinful mani -- as in a mani using Sinful Colors brand nail polish! My base color was San Francisco and my glitter gradient was done using Nail Junkie. San Francisco was pretty sheer so it took about 4 coats for proper color build up. It's an extremely pretty and rich shimmery green though! Check it out y'all! Click to enlarge zee details =)

So greeeeeeen!

Goodness, it was so hard to capture this mani on camera!  I discovered that after taking a bunch of pics outside, my bathroom lighting was what showed off the colors the best lol. Who knew, ehh? And of course I could not feature this mani without telling you guys that this week at Walgreens, all Sinful Colors Nail Polishes are only $0.99! Go out and stock up people! Here's to a good beginning of the week everyone! Till next time...

Scherer Chameleon Blue Sky

Hi guys! Lazy weekend post for today features a duochrome polish by the brand Scherer Chameleon in Blue Sky. Duh, you guys knew that from the title, right?? I know I'm not one to usually feature many duo/multi-chromes but this one was too pretty to pass up... look at all the pretty purple/green/blue/teal colors!

Don't you just love bottle shots like these?? =D You can find this one at your local Rite Aid store for around $3-4. I think sometimes they go on sale for even cheaper. I bought 3 of these but if I recall correctly, there were at least 5 total duochrome polishes I saw that day. Sorry guys, my memory is failing me right now since I bought these so long ago -- I'm talking last year long ago. Yeah... my untrieds list is ridonkulous. Shhh!

I know some people have had complaints about the formula bubbling and what not so here are a few tips & tricks I used to avoid the B-word mess:
  • The formula was a bit thick so add a few drops of thinner
  • This polish dries lightning quick so WORK FAST
  • Apply thicker coats of polish to give yourself some leeway when working the formula
  • Sandwich with a top coat, polish, then another top coat! This helped especially well with bubbles
Hrmm... I guess that was a not-so-lazy weekend post afterall. Oops! Have a great one you guys! ^_^

Overcast Mani: Glitter Gal Lizard Belly

Sooo YES, I am guilty. I am guilty of going back to square nails. Hahaha! I really tried my hardest to stick to oval nails and while it did last for almost two weeks, I just couldn't fight the urge in me to file them back down to square nails :P. Even though they are nubbins for now, I still love my square nails over the oval ones. I think I'd go with oval shaped nails when I want something a bit more sophisticated but let's face it... a girl's gotta have some fun in life right?! So back to square nails I go :D.

As you've noticed, the weather is NOT working with me today. Mr. Sun just doesn't want to come out to play. It doesn't matter though because the awesomeness of this polish cannot be tamed! Even in overcast weather, Glitter Gal's Lizard Belly still shines with its beautiful holographic sparkle. Let's get on with the pics!

Isn't she a beauty?! I'm sure you've all seen plenty of this polish in the bright beautiful sun so you are aware of its "holographic power" but seeing how much it still shows up in gloomy, cloudy weather really tells you how wonderfully awesome this holographic polish is! While it does look almost black, it's actually a darkened green holographic polish. Gosh, I just can't' help but stare at my nails :P -- potential driving hazard anyone?! Hahaha, hope you all are having a fabulous November. I can't believe the holidays are coming up so quickly now. Thanks for reading all you lovelies! <3

Orly Meet Me Under The Mistletoe + Risque Cobertura Encantada

Hi guys. Oh Em Gee... I am dead. I am sooooo tired. So you will forgive me when I post tons of pics of my mani instead of rambling on about nothing right?? Right. Thanks, you guys are the best!

Is that not enough pictures yet? No? Okay, there's more below!

Teeheehee! I am so out of it right now so you will just have to make do with these pics! And I hope you guys will also forgive me when I say that I just chopped off all my nails! Yes, that's right... I nubbinized! It was getting too long my dears, I had no choice! Plus, I was very interested in sporting a different look on my nails. Heheheh, you will see soon anyways, no biggie =P. So hopefully this is enough to get you by for a little bit while I rest up and get better in the mean time. Have an absolutely fantastic weekend everyone!!! And as always, thank you for reading all you lovelies! <3

Click here to enter my current giveaway! Click here to get your 50% off Aveyou Beauty card! You can read more about that in this post. Be sure to click on "National" to take you to the Aveyou deal!

Happy Friday everyone! I haven't done any Konading in a long long time so I figure I should break out with it again. My skills were rusty so it honestly was a little difficult to get back into the stamping groove =). Anyway, here are the results. I used another CQ polish today called Slate for my base color. Slate is a dark teal that leans green and was opaque in 2 easy coats. I am really loving all these CQ polishes! They are absolutely affordable as well so if you have access to them, I highly urge you to get some =). My stamping of course was done by my favorite go to green - China Glaze Cherish! I always seem to use this color when I stamp with greens hahah. Excuse me for the bad stamping job, as you can tell I need to be stamping more to get this right! >_<

All you have to do is squint and it'll look alright! =P

Left: indoors, Middle: shade, Right: sunlight

It kinda reminds me of peacock feathers in a way hahah. The image plate I used was from the second Bundle Monster pack and it was number BM212. I should probably head back into the Konading world so I could brush up on my skills again =P. Alrighty everyone, hope your week has been going well. Until next time, thanks for reading and have a good one!
